Morning all Morning Newie.
Sad demise of the great man.... best manager England never had....

What he did with Derby and Forest was brilliant

R.I.P. Brian Clough.

Has anyone read his autobiography?

it's a Great read 8)

i remember one bit in the book..... after he'd sign Trevor Francis and at that time TF was the blue eyed boy of English football ...... during a team talk he was saying to TF " don't forget son when you get the ball give it to Robbo (John Robinson) ok son? don't forget give it to Robbo you got that? Robbo.. give the ball to Robbo" - TF says " but boss why do i have to keep giving the ball to Robbo?" Cloughy says " cos he's a better player than you"

classic.... summed him up a treat

Hi all- back to Turkey after 10 days getting trench foot in Southampton.I,d forgotten the joys of British weather! Shoes are drying out nicely now though.
How are y'all? How was the Alton meet?
Cheers for now, David
