Saturday Hot Hot Hot

Hi Folks,
See outside temperature guage reading, midday today. PHEW
The car is parked in the shade
For those who persist in using the outdated and antiqauted Fahrenheit scale that's 102.2  Personally, I think Mr Fahrenheit must have been smoking something really good when he came up with a scale that has the freezing point of water at 32 and the boiling point at 212.

Went for a walk on the beach at 10:00am this morning but had to retreat to the airconned scoob after 15 minutes

Hope you all get some sun today but maybe a little less temperature and humidity than here.

Have a good day all.

BTW do the UK spec scoobs have the outside temp gauge. :?:
I find them extremely useful at the onset of winter to assess if there's a chance of icy roads.

Hi Cool - getting hot here too, it's about 9 in the morning and we're reading 37 so by midday should be hitting 39 or40. One thing we don't have is your humidity though and normally a sea breeze so that makes life bearable.
Never been to your part of the world but I did spend time in Singapore and Lankawi in Malaysia where I found the humidity to be just not funny.
How did Friday night treat you?? For me it was a couple of sundowners then off home to revel in an evening of BBC prime - just fitted the receiver yesterday so now TV on 24 hours a day for programmes in a language I can understand . Must have been missing it 'cos I found myself watching How to Cook with Delia Smith at some ungodly hour this morning. Sad eh? Mrs R not impressed. Cheers.

Hi David/Gareth,

  You serious about the maternity ward gareth :?:    If so all the best to you both

Yes your right David the humidity here is the killer as you say not funny

Last night was a blast. met up with some American pals in town and ended the night in a hostess bar Walked home at 5:00am because it was nice and cool, around 24 degs, at that time of day.
Off to watch a huge firework display tonight at a local lakeside.
Then off to town to start again.

The only 'british' TV I can get here is BBC World and it's cr@p
But I do love listening live to BBC radio 5 Live, makes me feel like I'm home

Good luck to you both Keri......

Gareth, Strap a pillow to your head. That way when you faint it won't hurt as much

I take it they went then..... as no posts from Gareth for a few hours
