Re: FRIDAY

Evening Wayne. No chance of any money staying in my pocket at Christmas time.

True, but then you get all the extras that go with crimbo. I get to go to work and worst of all, NO Xmas pudding for me.

Re: FRIDAY

-5. You can keep that. Was 16 degrees here today and sunny.

Tbh Tom, the Japanese have bought into the whole Xmas thing in a big way, but just the shallower aspects of the holiday; money & Presents. Their Xmas dinner is usually KFC: i kid you not. Not interested in that at all. Also it's work as usual here in Japan; no Xmas hols.

I'm not even slightly religious so for me Xmas is about being with all your family and since they are all over the place and we don't have kids just isn't the same.

(did i use enough semi-colons?)

Re: FRIDAY

i'm prepared to share the cold wayne, just not the snow even though it was just a light dusting. for me this year its all about family. after going back on the road with work, i dont see the parents or my sister and nephews as much as i did before getting married so be nice to have christmas with them this year.

its cold here too pete. just sat in front of the fire sorting out my tax return (hopefully get a bit back) and plucking up the courage to venture outside for stuff for the house and the car (touch up stick)
