Morning all too,

This time next week should have a Spec. D with PPP sitting on the drive - very excited even though I'm p'exing the Lotus.

This site has been an extremely valuable source of info. pre-purchase.

Cheers

John

Thanks Pete, drove it yesterday for an hour pre PPP, and given miserable weather in Derbyshire, it was a nicer place to be than the Lotus on the return journey!

Have enjoyed mad sportscar immensely, but it's tme to move on and really looking forward to Impreza ownership.

Have looked at a few different cars and marques in my search and really can't think of a better all-round vehicle for the money that combines fun, level of performance and family duties. The STI is massively capable as standard so will be interesting to see the difference the PPP pack makes to the overall experience...

Cheers

John

Evening Tom/Pete and all.

Pete - Car seems okay now. Reset the ECU and the fans went off and also the check engine light. Because i lost all the coolant when changing the sensor, it now smokes from the engine bay when i come to a halt. I presume this is just what is sitting in the nooks in the engine bay burning off.
And christ, since reseting the ECU, the car seems faster. You can really hear the turbo kicking in.
Anyway, a massive thanks. to Pete, who helped me sort this problem. Have to buy you a few beers Pete.

Scotty.

hi scotty. glad you got it sorted mate. you're right with the smoke from under the bonnet, it'll just be the pooled coolant burning off mate
