Good Morning!

How are your weekends so far?

Cloudy and a wee bit chilly here.
Was gonna go to Roppongi in Tokyo to catch the ashes but bugger all point. I knew we'd struggle but....

So gonna go and give the car a wash instead.

Might see yer later!

left cardiff 5.45am, arrived at API engines in warwickshire at 8am, waited 4 hours for an exedy performance clutch and lightened flywheel to be fitted. as it was on the ramp i also had rear drop links put on. chatted all mornng to other scoob owners and David O'brien who runs the place (fantasic customer service, David spent pretty much the whole morning talking to us, he even laid on bacon n egg buttys!). then 1hr 20mins to swindon desperately trying to find a tescos extra with 99ron fuel. wasted a couple hrs in the biggest tescos ever reading mags n drinking red bull. another journey to bob rawles house and more red bull, and then out on the road with him by 6pm. had an immense experience on quiet roads of swindon for about one n half hours. i kept my dignity well by holding different amounts of boost on an A road. then the best part, 1/2 mile long country B road which was totally straight n empty and pitch black do full throttle in 3rd again and again. back to his place for 7.30pm and then hour n half back to the mother land.
worth every penny (including the new clutch n flywheel). drove home in a different car! the only way to describe the car is.................AWESOME!
more details to follow!!!!
