a nostalgia bike ride down memory lane

was thinking the other day about the bikes i had when i was a kid, was just wondering what set the pace in your street. perhaps it may say something about your age?

myself: 1. a budgie (solid front tyre, air filled bouncy rear), a smalll boys chopper.
2. raleigh striker
3. raleigh grifter (weighed a fooking ton)
4. halfords 'turbo' bmx, loads of pads.

out of interest what did peeps on here ride back in the day? and did anyone have a bomber with cow handle bars, they wre the muts nuts down here in cardiff!
and hows about the raleigh burner!!!!!!

god..this takes me back.

first proper bike was a raleigh comando.
then a silver chopper.
then a grifter.
wanted a raleigh burner but at 6 feet tall i was a bit big so i got a blue bomber.

after that i got sick of pedal power and got into motorbikes.
