I might be forced in selling the Type R mate... Here's a few options:

1 - sell the car as is and get as much as possible for it...
2 - put the car back to standard, sell of gearbox etc and sell car that way or
3 - try and manage with a cheaper car until I can put the scooby back on the road... (but still keeping the scooby somewhere else)

The main problem is mate, I'm changing my career as it where and I wont for sure be able to afford to run the car and pay for whatever else I have going out.
I've decided this because after 4 months of sheer hell at work, I want to go off and do something with my life rather than just piss it away.
The career I wont might be stupid to some but its about the only thing I enjoy as I know a few good mates that do the same job and they are earning some good money.
As with every job, I know it will get boring, I'm not doubting that. But I just want something that I can earn a decent amount of money with each month and have something to do each day. So in this case, a car isnt as important as a decent long term job is going to be for me.

So with much regret I'm just gonna do whatever it is I have to do to do what I want.

Life isnt all that great at the moment anyways (nothing much has really changed since I've been back home apart from making a few more friends and sorting myself out after my ex.) so I want to start having and making a difference.

Because I really, dont know what else I can do.

Sorry for all the negitivity guys and gals, but that's just the way it is at the moment for me.

Do not rush into anything. You need to sit back and think things through....
It is difficult when it is all getting on top of you BUT and it is a big BUT you may sell the car thinking this is what you need to do when you could have managed. If you do not have HP etc on the car then hold tight, just do not spend anything on it. Then say a month into your new career you will be in a position where you will know for sure whether it does need to go. If as you say the money is good (being as you are a grafter) then although being on a steep learning curve the money should start coming in pretty quick. Are we talking about decorating. if we are then I think you will pick that up pretty quick...

However if you are going into your new career with debt then it does make sense to try and clear as much of the debt as possible. That also said there is a lot of money in that car that you will not recoop easily as this was a long project when started and not for a quick return.
As I said a lot to think about before you decide....

PS... Not trying to lecture or teach you to suck eggs just trying to help you see the options and pro's & con's.

I'm not rushing into anything as I'm trying to think of all routes possible.

I will admit I'm in two minds of selling her anyways, but to be honest with all the money that has gone on her, I would be stupid to do such a thing. What really annoys me is that my brother in law and my mum dont seem to trust me driving their cars which really annoys the hell out of me. It would solve some if not, most of my problems I think.

Its just a case of getting into the job as I just need that foot inside the door and then I should be ok.

My aim is to start this after christmas as if I decided to go down the course route that's when the course would start... Money is a big issue at the moment Peter and I cant really afford to drop any cash to be honest, but I'm just going to bite the bullet and see what happens. I dont want to not do anything with my life, I need something I know I can do and make some money from it.

I am sure if you have looked at all your options and do it with your eyes wide open, it will turn out right.
Sounds like you have looked or are looking at all options.

I am sure you will make the right decisions and all will turn out well for you...
