Knocking in rear shocks can be fixed by dismantling and regreasing the shock if that's what the problem is.
Kyb make the shocks for Subaru. You can buy Kyb shocks from motor parts suppliers and...

The ecu meters the air as it enters the engine. If the dump valve blows it all away the ecu does not know and therefore runs rich as it adds petrol for air that's not there anymore hence running...

1 bar is far from atmospheric pressure. Depending on the year it should be boosting at 0.9 or 1.1 bar. If your gauge is slightly inaccurate then it could explain the 1 bar reading but boost isn't...

It's a big job but not that hard. I wouldn't attempt it on my own if I'd never done one before. Might need another pair of hands as the gearbox is really heavy

Check the connection underneath the seat. My 03 wrx put the light on when a coke bottle was lodged underneath the seat. When I removed it the light went out

This happened me before. I sat with the car idling waiting for my test for about 10 mins. It failed. The examiner told me to take it a good hard run before the retest and don't sit with it idling....

Going by his other post he should already have the fuel pump as its an 04 sti. Panel filter and remap and ditch the dump valve as above
