16/17mpg town driving in London traffic.
Average just over 30mpg on a long run sticking to 80.

But now get 60mpg + in my new Fiesta diesel with the econetic engine Hehehe

So its not so bad now...

My P1 is fine 1st to 4th, even booting in through the gears. But once in 5th it slips so we both need new clutches. Don't put a standard one back in. I'm getting an exedy one put in with a lightened...

Before the vat increase I was paying £1:32.9 a litre for vpower. Haven't filled up since....using my push bike more now.....:D

I bought the P1 back in May with just under 25k on the clock. I do use mine everyday but not racking up big miles. I must admit that I am trying to keep the miles down. I do have a Ford Focus as well...

Thanks...I was surprised when the guy opened the bonnet. I'm glad I didn't buy that other one now which was dog rough.

it's soooo different to the audi...Mind you the Audi was DSG and twice now like a knob I've forgotten to dip the clutch coming upto a junction and stalled.....That's what happens when you get used to...

Cheers....It was worth the wait....It's been remapped to run on V-power...so fingers crossed this engine should be ok...!!!!!

there's quite a few Type R's for sale on SVA IMPORTS...anybody heard of them???

And I'm guessing that all the type R's are imported....!!!!!

What's the difference then between the Type R's and the P1....

Are both 280bhp??

Why would you say it's a better car..??
