Hi all just a little update.. I decided to re-build the engine myself...
Here is a little list of work carried out...
New crankshaft (thrust bearings had eaten right in to it), complete set of ACL...

Yeah, true.. I could probably get away with a strip down and a set of main bearings, but would be really pi**ed if I'd gone to all that trouble and something else let go soon after..

Cheers Mike, but im a mechanic myself, and will be doing all the stripping and fitting etc.. its a bit of a toss up what to do, The engine has done 120,000 miles, so would probably require a full...
