Re: clutch

mine does that after a good run and a lot of clutch use but thats because my slave cylinder sometimes sticks. Easy to fix by putting the car in neutral and dropping the clutch.

In your case though...

Re: boost problem

just watch m8, if it turns out to cure the problem i would be inclined to go and buy a new maf as its probably the most critical sensor of the engine which will ruin the engine should it fail.

I...

Might be worth thinking about having her remapped on the road m8 to simulate driving conditions, i find rolling roads can be a hit or a miss sometimes as no 2 readings will ever be the same.

Andy...

Re: FMIC

i got a 200 quid one from ebay and cant fault it to be honest apart from a slight mismatch where the pipe join at the front of the engine but a little wriggling and it fits :)

Once mapped it made...

Re: Speaker Question (technical, not performance)

no the speakers are wired in parallel meaning there is a connection at the back of the stereo for each speaker.

Sounds like the headunit itself is faulty to me, the chances of you blowing all 4...

Re: rear wheel toed in?

They wont check alignment angles just safety related stuff like no rust near load bearing points of the chassis etc so they might have missed something.

Why not take it to kwik fit and ask them...

Re: rear wheel toed in?

It shouldn't be m8, Either you have hit a pot hole which has done some serious damage to the suspension or the tyre is knackered. Other option which people often over look is having a heavy object in...

On your tod it will take 10 hours but if your mates...

Re: coolant problems

Re: which tyres?? opinions?

toyo proxes get a good rating on the scoob forums. Have to watch out with tyres on the scoob as some can cause the car to wander even more than it does.

Re: Lambada Sensor

only other thing i can think of is a vacuum leak on the intake somewhere. Without getting a live reading on the sensors its hard to say if they are knackered or not. Might be worth getting it checked...

Re: Petrol cap and engine management?

i take it you havent got a small leak in any of the fuel lines or tank? It would produce the same results as the petrol cap if the petrol level was below the leak.

Re: Sharp cut/hesitation under load - 98 WRX import

you could try cleaning the boost solenoid on the drivers front strut turret. Its the one with either 2 or 3 hoses going to it and looks like a small cylinder.

mileage isnt really a problem with the scoobs as long as they have been well maintained. Obviously as with any car there is going to be wear and tear.

Cars are designed for 200k or 10 years life...
