Re: TRACKER WHAT TO DO

Insurance companies and trackers are weird. I couldn't get insured on my old blob wrx without a tracker installed so paid 500 + 10 per month subscription. On my current blob sti, the insurance...

Re: fresher

Welcome. How many miles has it done? Newage STi's are bulletproof if looked after properly i.e. service every 10k and cambelt every 50k. Mine's done 109k, mapped to 330bhp and never missed a beat :)

Re: Need help with an action plan

If you want big power, you might be better off buying an sti as the base and making it look like a wrx if you want to hide it. Change the rear spoiler, side skirts, front spats and scoop, would...

Re: Sti exhaust

You could get a secondhand aftermarket backbox for near on the same price as an sti one. Look at the ninjas or a prodrive if you can find one.

Re: What exhaust to get.

You could change the centre pipe to a non resonated one, that should make a bit of difference.

On the right hand side of the dash, just below the headlight level switch and fog light switch is a little pull out cubby hole, its in there. This is the link for the keypad manual...

I had this on one of my old cars once. I engaged gear, started and let the clutch up slowly, after that it was fine. I'm guessing the plate was stuck but not entirely sure. If it happen to my Scooby...

Re: New toy

Re: Back Box

It has 2 bolts onto centre pipe and rubber mounts, nice and simple. If you're doing it on your drive I recommend 2 people as it is fairly heavy when you're led underneath it!

Re: 54 reg subaru impreza clunking from rear when driving slow

Re: 54 reg subaru impreza clunking from rear when driving slow

Rear struts can knock and is very common, I replaced mine with KYB golds from Camskill. Also, I recently had a loose axle nut on the back that was clicking, got it retorqued and all good now. And...
