As said above, not worth the amount of parts,work, price. just get a bigger turbo that will bolt on, maybe bigger injectors depending on...

98 is a cross over model. if you are looking at using ECUTEK software you best get the cars vin code checked with a ecutek mapper. Other than that pay for a simtek ecu and get that mapped to the car

Is it a factory fitted device? if so, Denver may have a Subaru dealership, i'm sure they can reprogram the system and give you new fob, although you'll have to pay a fair bit and get the car to them....
