Hope to have a few pics(you know what im like)of a mates current project by the end of the wk,lee`s done all the work himself will just be the painting he`s getting a couple of other mates to do-will be a cool car though when its finished even though mk2`s with cossie lumps in arent a new thing,anyway pics to follow soon...................

Theres only the underneath painted so far his mate came round an painted it on one of them spits that ya can flip shell over on-its seamwelded/ strengthened/ caged know he were waiting for carbon fibre bonnet an bootlid,wheels are ordered but will be a month coming(10in widex15`s on the front, 12x15 for the rear-havin some intermediate tyres for it

) not sure where its at till i get round his place will be tomorrow or friday though all bein well.

Is gonna be road/track car mate shouldnt be too long he`s gotta sell his land rover first though to fund it,landy`s quite cool itself thats got a bigger cooler and had remap amongst other stuff,i reckon at a guess bk end of july/early august-ish

will be very very cool.

That is gonna be some car when its finished - I remember seeing the McRae Mk2 Escorts at last years Rally Day and they were quite a sight.

Yer cant wait meself,his mate "should" be bringing his samba bk out after a while off the road aswell so that should be fun-got a few mates with projects at the mo another ones just bought a mk1 fiesta off another mate thats stripped caged etc an he were on about puttin a zetec in it-same mate text me a pic of a mk2 escort van he bought last wkend an ive no idea yet whats happening with that(though got another mate john with a cossie engine in a mk1 escort van-though doubt he`ll go that far)and brens still doin the mk1 astra gte.

I`ll keep updating as he does a bit more,he`s been let down by the bloke doing the montecarlo arches for the back,lee`s had an extra inch width on them to compensate for the 12in wide rims goin on the bk and the swage lines dont line up right so he`s gotta get some more made,luckily hasnt got the wheels yet so aint like its much of a hold up as such.
