exhaust fitting.....easy !!!!(ok lucky)

Well that were straight fwd enough didnt break anything nothing were seized could have been done in about an hr and a half easy if lee hadnt have had to pop out for some exhaust rubbers (tho still need 2 more)just gotta cut exhaust hanger off the bk box and weld bk on in the right place as tailpipe sits about 3/4 inch too far to the left in the hole in the valance but will do that when the weather picks up and lees cars taxed so he can get round here, anyway a few pics.

yer love his car to bits gonna be busy with it in summer he`s putting new suspension on it probably koni`s so when we do that we`re removing the underseal from under the arches and painting white for that concours look, as it dont get used hardly at all if its raining,we gotta spray around the A panel coz someones bodged it with a bit of brush paint so doors will have to come off for that theres a bit of tidying around the hinges on the doors needed a tiny bit of paint on the bottom of the rear 1/4`s needed and theres a small bubble on the rear valance to sort other than that mint.

its ok gareth but dont half take some polishing and lee`s errr not that motivated in that dept tbh he`s ok if im there coz he knows im car mad and committed but lees generally quite lazy-tho he does get quite a lot of stick with his knees in a big way if hes in the scooby for about an hour cud do with a crane to lift him out.

actually mal got a mate with a 1.9 gti now a red one its mint this is his 2nd after a drunk driver came over the brow of a hill and hit his old 205 head on-killed the other driver but kye an this is true had put harnesses in it that afternoon-police and firebrigade said he`d have been dead too were it not for them-needless to say this one has harnesses in too-will have to try an get the pics of his car sorted u wont believe he got out of it.loves em too bits tho-hence he bought another.
