993 turbo 4=408 bhp, twin turbo, 4wd reckon me scoobys gonna seem slow after, trouble is now with the weather bein crap dunno when he`s goin to be out in it so maybe a while before i get a play-i mean drive lol

he would literally kill me mate he`s a valeter at a car sales near where i live he`s had to beg borrow and nearly steal to get the money together.believe it or not still lives at home with his dad(tho i can talk same here)his girlfriends moved bk home from a rented house she were in an saved the rent money from the past year hes got a couple of insurance policies matured/his dads leant him some/some john had saved already and he got 15k for his old cossie below.(trust me it aint been easy for him tho its his dream car)

if im bein honest me too paul tho u should av seen what he got rid of to get the cossie escort (pic below) i think the 993`s aged badly to be honest just basing the coolness on the performance.Tho gotta be honest think for 40 grand theres better looking cars.loved his sierra tho.

just lucky to have had mates that have had some really cool cars.

he had a series 1 escort rst as a runabout at the time he`d got the sierra-well it started off as a runabout were nearly concours in the end no pics of that one tho.

Paul theres so many old fords i like,the trouble was when i first bought the scooby it were gonna be my only car then the place where i work closed the warehouse (car were kept in a locked compound-van driver so not there all day-so locked compound were good hid behind stacks of pallets so it couldnt be seen from gates-yes i am paranoid lol)so would have to be left now on a rough council estate with loadsa tearaway kids kickin about so were forced in to buying a runabout coz theres no way me scoobs were gonna be left there.tho has worked out ok coz dont have to use me scooby in crap weather-point bein tho if i knew i would be buying 2 cars id have probably bought a mk 2 escort mexico or rs 2000.like mk1 and 2 escorts but if had to choose would be mk2`s,i actually went to rs owners club national day this year-i were like right im selling me scooby when i saw this

Think when it came down to it tho i just wouldnt be able to part with it i love me scooby to bits.

Theres one here for ya paul this is a mate of a mates escort mk1cossie engined 350bhp van he dont bring it out much (strangely enough) lol i love it he used to have a mint rs1600i aswell not sure hes still got that tho. sorry gareth if ya read this im turning it into a ford forum lol.
