Thank you all for the welcome. And Pete thanks for the info re airbag light. I'm debating whether to get on my knees to take it to an expert. I live in Beckenham, Kent any suggestions as to where I might take it?

Thanks Tidgy, Got a call from a friend who reminded me about a auto electrician-Metrolec in beckenham so I will nip along there and hope he can sort it out for me. I have to confess I am new to this forum stuff and am still trying to work my way around it. I have been checking out some of the jokes/funnies - some pretty good ones there were too! Re airbag warning light!
Hi Pete and Tidgy, finally got down on my knees - it gets harder! fiddled about under the seat, touched a connector? Guess what - the airbag warning light went off! Thanks a bundle. Now I won't be expecting the airbag to explode in my face. Jeff is a doubly happy bunny a) cos he didn't have to get down on his knees and b) cos the problem is sorted!
