Thumbs up Hi from France

Hi everyone. I've just registered so thought I'd say hi.
A bit about me. I work at a V.I.P. aircraft maintenance in Switzerland and moved here about 5 years ago. My wife has her little Suzuki Alto to run around in leaving me to bus it to work. So I'm now thinking about getting my own car (again). I've been thinking about a Subaru, but I'm not sure which year. I've been offered a 2000 model WRX for 2,500, and a 2005 STI WR1 Prodrive model for 14,000 Swiss Francs (9,250). Now both of these are right hand drive, which is not a problem yet, but will be later. I would also like something a little newer. The two models I've been thinking about are the 2008 model and the latest model, both would have to be WRX STI versions (just my personal choice).
Could anyone give me any information on the above models. I do understand that specs will be slightly different here. But maybe a comparison of the two models, or just your personal experiences with them.

Many Thanks in advance.....Mike.

Re: Hi from France

Good price for a WR1 if it's in good condition and low miles.
