Track day at combe

Right as the first day we ran was amazing and i mean amazing.

We are thinking of doing another one.

Will be around late august ..just to see if any one from here would be interested.

We keep the numbers low for maximun track time ..I did 12 sessions.

As i said nothing set in stone just seeing if there was any interest.

Swpc are also involved aka Nelson

As a spectator last time all i can say is this sort of event is very well organised and catered for. Nobody drives like a Loon and there is no pressure to race Castle Combe take care of Marshalling etc and what with Poxy and Tracey (his wife) in charge the day will run very smoothly indeed.

I had no intention of tracking my car until I went to this day last time.....everybody is very friendly and the main thing is there are LOADS OF SCOOBS

Ahhh good

Yes Tracey is the main organiser [boss] Ijust help

Yes last time we started with 4 cars on track so as you can see no danger of accidents plenty of free space.

but combe said as we where a very well behaved group they would let us run 6 plus the instructor we hired

no charge for spectators..no charge for passengers .no charge for crash helmits

we are doing a write up for the true grit mag SIDC

But defo gona get some magazine involved next time

insurance is not compolsary its up to you but with so few cars on track
:?

Depends if you are in a 350BHP Evo at the time tho mate - with a wannabe Makinen at the wheel No seriously it is very safe - hence the reason for my interest

hi all

The last week of August was unfortunately fully booked up, so we have had to go for Monday 16th August 2004. The cost will be 155 per person (This will be 1 driver, 1 car).

There are 32 places for this event! Places will be allocated by receipt of payment in full. So the quicker you can pay, the more chances your place will be guaranteed

Same format as last time, 4 cars on track + 1 with the instructor. Sessions in the morning, open pit in the afternoon.

I have done my bit, the ball is now in your court.

Can I just say, it will make it alot easier if people could pay direct into my bank this time, as I was up and down to the bank last time but I am working now, so won't have much time to do this. If you go into a Natwest bank with cash and pay direct into my bank, this also clears faster than internet banking Prompt payments as always would be very much appreciated, then I can sort this day alot quicker.

Let's hope this is as good or better than the last one
