Rossi starts 2006 on top - Pedrosa third.
MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi has finished the first day of the 2006 season on top of the timesheets - but it wasn't all business as usual, with Loris Capirossi just 0.012secs behind and rookie Dani Pedrosa a close third.
