turbo'd 1.5?

just out of curiosity, i have a 2008 1.5rx hatchback impreza,

how easy is it to turbo? is it possibly to use components from previous models?

id just like to see if its possible and how much work is needed?

if any one can shed some light on this subject please dooo

Lota lota work to be honest if you that keen on power best option is sell it and buy a wrx or sti or if you up for some work rip the engine out and plant a wrx or sti lump in their but you will have to change all the running gear box, diff, drive shafts, hubs, bigger brakes, ecu and so on lot of work that route doh

slap the turbo on and use 2 head gaskets and a shim to drop the compression per side,
you wont be able to run massive boost but yes you can do it.

as said yes it can be done, but the cost doesn't make it worth doing.
