Yes it will need a remap as above as it will overboost if not due to the more free flowing exhaust as for the bhp sure some one will be along for definite figures but Im thinking round the 15-20bhp mark

Ask duncan from Dynamix for full details on best route, as he knows his stuff.

I think yours has a 3 port boost solenoid already so id go with an uprated fuel pump although ppp i think will mean you already have that too, panel filter, remap, decat exhaust and you will be amazed a the difference

Re: blitz nur spec r on my ppp will it need a remap

Hi

Remap cost is 350

Decat on a PPP will def need remapping as it will overboost galore and could be very unsafe.

Partial decat on a bug/blob eye 'may' be ok but you will not get much improvement without a remap. Always safer to remap IMO and will get a lot out of the remap performance wise.

The PPP doesnt come with a 3 port solenoid (only wr1 on newages got one) and with a remap the likely bhp figures are:

bug sti - 320-330
blob sti - 330-340

bug wrx needs a 3 port solenoid to do anything spectacular but will get to 280 ish with full decat
blob wrx will be fine on 2 port (3 port helps though) and reach 280-290 ish

Some do more, some do less as all are very different.

Re: blitz nur spec r on my ppp will it need a remap

Sorry to hijack the thread, the bug sti Im thinking of buyin is standard apart from the exhaust, from the cat back, apparently it has been like this for the last 5 years, should it have been remapped and is any damage likely to occur if it isnt?

They are not needed until you are around 350bhp.

The std items are perfectly adequate up to that point.

Speak to Harvey Smith - Website (crap website but you will find his phone number on there) - His tubular headers and high velocity uppipe is the best around IMO.
