Re: boost advise

take the K&N off for a start and dont start turning anything up unless your able to change the fueling and timing to match or it will just blow up and earn the name of a unreliable impreza yet again,
Get a remap ! make it all safe, you will be very limited anyway on a uk turbo as they run a TD04 so if your planning a remap to get more out of it id suggest a swap to a td05 to make the most of it,
hope that helps answer your questions.

Re: boost advise

If it wasnt installed from the factory you could actually be doing damage, it may be causing over fueling which can damage the bores over time,
If it was then your running more then a standard uk boost wise anyway as it is 13.68 psi and typically its 11.47 psi for a UK
