Negative Camber to stop new alloys rubbing

I just put a set of 18*8 with 235 40 tyres on the back of an 04 WRX wagon and bingo wheel arch rubbing time...
Its not bad so Im thinking maybe a wee touch of negative camber will sort it...would a couple of camber bolts do the trick on an impreza? Is it one bolt per wheel?...Ive never adjusted camber before.
Cheers

The offset should be 45 plus I thought, so that is probably why you are getting the tyre rub the arch

Standard offset is 50+ so thats definately why they're rubbing

Personally I would not just adjust camber just to stop your wheels rubbing. You need to know how these changes will affect your handling and this needs to be measured with professional equipment. Not just ajust and hope for the best job.

Re: Negative Camber to stop new alloys rubbing

Sorry my mistake...I`ve checked with Compomotive and they are actually 45 offset. Its weird though as its only one side thats rubbing...I tried turning hard both ways and one side rubs like mad but nothing on the other...maybe a shock absorber or something is contributing.
