more power!

hello all,

i am known as spooky to my friends, and i drive a 54 plate, 4 door wrx in blue with silver wheels.

thinking about a prodrive pack, but i have heard that we can get a remapping pack, that gives more power and economy...... is this true.

best wishes

Re: more power!

Imo I'd go with a more tailored upgrade, full decat, high flow panel filter, upgraded fuel pump, then a remap. You will probably find your get more bhp from that over the PPP, and save some money doing so. I have the same model as yourself so can tell you from experience. As for economy buy a eco box!

Re: more power!

befor eyou say that, the remap will improve mpg when your taking it easy, but not when your giving it large lol

the ppp wil reduce mpg by a bit, the PPP map is basicly a boost and fuel increase. and by fuel in crease i means it throws buckets at it

Re: more power!

A custom remap will always get better results than a generic prodrive pack and cost substantially less too.

Often find that the MPG improves when I have remapped a car assuming that the owner doesn't get carried away with the new power levels
