tyres for 2003 wrx

always used toyo T1-R's on my previous car. It was a vtec civic and they worked great on it, realy good tyres for that car. Anyone have them on a scooby. Due 4 soon and will prob buy more of these unless any can recommend something better. Sometimes tyres that work good on one car dont work as good on another.

Re: tyres for 2003 wrx

I've just put Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta on my 17's and they are highly recommended by me. great grip from cold and great in the rain. I've also used Toyo T1R - ok, good for the money. Bridgestone potenza RE070 - Hot or cold and no in between, - good for long distance runs n long track runs.
Hankook RS2 semi slick track - rubbish on road - not recommended, only did about 1000miles on them and have removed them for more sensible tyres i.e the current vreddy's.

If you've got the money to burn rubber quick then Toyo R888's are great, although not the greatest in the wet but a.o.k.
Interested in everything

priced the toyo with elite - 288 for 4. Think I will stick with what I know to be good at that money! There 95 each over there. Thats a great saving! Thanks for your advice everyone always good to know other opinions on tyres!
