72mm Throttle body

Was looking for battery trays/boxes for Brum and spotted this

Hamilton MotorsportLtd Single Throttle Body
7% better hmmm
Ive played with bigger throttle bodies on other cars, reworked them, new spindles to make them operate quicker etc
Does work, I have been eyeing up a 70mm version but Ive seen this now and need a tweek to my map soon anyway so wondered if anyone had any thoughts?

Re: 72mm Throttle body

Does look cool, says you can get it painted aswell to a colour of your choice red? would it be over the top with the red intake manifold and your red samco hoses? say it would give much better trottle response again and as you said dont forget to tweak the map straight after it if you getting it, what is the standard trottle body width anyway?

Re: 72mm Throttle body

I know the Hose from TMIC to TB is 70mm so id say the TB ID is about 68mm,
Oversized TB`s really work on NA cars and its not that much money to try.

Re: 72mm Throttle body

Pointless unless you are running huge power.

The Cosworth inlet manifold is designed to work on standard throttle body, so if they think it is big enough...............
