service

hi all a few weeks ago i could smell fuel when i turned the heater on, as it happens i had a fuel leak thats all sorted now but i was going to get a service. it has has a cam belt change at 47,000 now its done 69,000 i presume that doesnt need changing? the tensioner pulley for air con belt need changing as its making alot of noise now. apart from the usual filters etc and i was guna change the spark plugs does anything else need changing that i havnt thought of? advice would be much apreciated. oh yeh its a bug eye WRX

Sparks, filter, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, altenator belt, air con belt ?

As for the first post dont forget rear diff oil, gearbox oil, change coolant, brake and clutch fluid thats if they need to be done, check brake pads all round and brake shoes if in douth about condition thats just me I look over everything

the alternator and air con belt were changed at the same time as the cam belt, just guna buy the rest now cheers guys

also the FPR can work loose from doing a bit more digging on the fuel issues

The horrors of taking off that Intake Manifold brings it all back to me when I sprayed mine, went over everything that day to make sure 100% I would not have to take it off for a long while again I proberbly just ginxed myself now

I was thinking of whipping mine off to replace these bits of hose and pop that intake pipe on,Is it worth fitting a set of manifold spacers ?

Oh the red samco pipe nice manifold spacers? as in manifold gaskets?

A guy makes some spacers to insulate the manifolds better from the Block heat transfer

Also replacing those rubber fuel pipes wouldnt be a big job with the manifold off
