Re: ecu upgrade

as said by jd, some year/models can have software added(EcuTek) which makes the OEM ecu open to remap.

replacement ecu's - Simtek seem to be the flavour of the month as they have some nice advantages and can have novelty add-on's if that your kind of thing. Info can be found here on Simtek (scroll to the bottom of page until you get to SIMTEK ECU PRODUCT DESCRIPTION............................BRDevelopments

Re: ecu upgrade

I would suggest speaking to Martyn at www.enginetuner .co.uk about the Simtek, been helping with the development from the start with Steve Simpson.

Martyn has fitted and mapped more Simtek than anone else on the market and was the first to install a Simtek in a newage (wonder whos that was? pmsl)

SimTek Performance Engine Management is the main website.

it will need mapping. wont be set right for your car, i wouldn't drive it hard till its sorted properly. the standard ecu can be piggy backed and then mapped
