Exclamation kn fitted or change for standard ?

Got a kn fitted to my 1995 wrx it was on when i bought in should i replace it for the standard air box with better panel filter or stick with the kn?

totally up to you bud,most pannel filters wil cope wit up to 350 bhp,IK's will give you more,also if you replace the IK the induction sound will obviously go,so the choice is yours

the kn then cos love the sound i just dint want to mess owt up but seems to run fine with it. Bit dodgy first thing in a morning but only for a couple of mins pops a bit

mine pops and farts as well,its just the cold air getting into the system,is the backing plate still on the bonnet vent??

if the cover is off the vent,more air will be drawn by the filter causing the popping and farting,also advisory to keep it in place when it rains,scoobs don't really like wet/moist filters!!..

both the side vents are covered on on the intercooler aint like i say only does it for a min then idles perfect. Have you got a pic of your under the hood?

erm,belive it or not,i've not got an under bonnet shot of my car,thought i had,but i havn't...
