downpipe sports cat

Hi i'm new.
scooby 51 plate wrx.
require help regarding the topic of exhaust mods.
standard uk spec car at moment with sti backbox.
not sure how far to go with mods, the items below are what i'm thinking about.
i've three options, dont want to do a remap, please advice best option.

*option 1*
green panel filter
3" Catback system with 4 1/2" backbox

*option 2*
green panel filter
3" Decat pipe from downpipe, then 3" sections through to a 4 1/2" backbox

*option 3*
green panel filter
3" full turbo back high flow sports Cat pipe, then 3" sections through to a 4 1/2" backbox

I'm after a nice flatfour burble and max performance gains.
don't want to do option 3 unless really gaining alot.
money abit of an issue!!!!
the Scooby has to pass an mot.
what the best sounding sports backbox?
please advice thanks.
mark.

Re: downpipe sports cat

nothing wrong with option 3 bud, makes MOT time alot less hassle, run a sport cat on mine
as for a nice sounding box, your spoilt for choice, afterburner are good(scoobyworld),scorpion(subaru use for the PPP set up) or if you want that FULL WRC sound and got a little extra cash to spend, the FULL APS system

Re: downpipe sports cat

The Downpipes SW sell are the same as Japspeed ( I cant say they are as they dont advertise them correctly) but Ive had 1 at the side of a Japspeed and it was identical.
