Your car will not need a re-map....but... you should do an ecu reset procedure... its easy to do and it will ensure your car runs safely...after any mod to the engine I recommend it

Also you will not get more than 5-10 bhp with the decate centre and down pipe until you get a re-map... but weigth saving will also give performance increase, and of course the exhaust note is fun...then you will get about 50-60 bhp more and lots more torque... you will need a high flow panel filter and uprated fuel pump to ensure problem free running and better air flow

I recommend the following Ecutek remappers

Re: DECAT EXHAUST

I agree with what nobby stated above ,but remember all cars will gain/ lose different amounts of power before/after a remap depending on how car was maintained, driven ,fuel, etc

This isn't always the cases, some cars do throw a benny when you do a decat and overboost all over the shop.

Re: DECAT EXHAUST

it will need a map to make the most out the modifications, but maybe safe to run as is.......just get it checked

first thing to monitor yourself after a decat would be the boost pressure.

Re: DECAT EXHAUST

yes, make sure you keep the cat when you take it off or it won't pass the MOT. Just pop it on once a year for the test.
