Re: Anti lag

be aware that in most cases the claimed anti lag is very mild indeed also it can fry your turbo and exhaust valves, y particularly do you want it?

yes mate, can destroy the engine. kill the turbo, burnt out valves etc etc

rally cars get rebuild after every event because of it. most road antilag is extreamly mild and more about noise, but still does damage.

i know someone who had a 2.5 build and it fried the valves in two weeks cos he used it too much.

just not worth it at all, if you want pops and bangs get it mapped into the over run, doens't cause damage except to the cat, assuming you have one of course

Re: Anti lag

antilag for road use used sensibly will not cause damage.

if you get full on rally antilag and run it constantly the problems are caused by the heat build up.

Re: Anti lag

yeah mate, I,m not a techy person myself but upon reading this thread it really could hurt your motor. I,m sure your car would be fine without the anti lag so better think about it though. And besides it's kinda expensive and hard to find. But if you really want to find one try your nearest car dealer.
Cheers.

Re: Anti lag

anything can damage your engine, driving it is the worst thing you can do.

there is alot of scaremongering in the tuning world (especially Subaru tuning), anyone remember the oil change procedure?
