ecu help

hi ive just bought a 1998 uk spec 2.0 turbo wagon, with center mounted coil pack, ive been told you cant map these ecu's is this true, if yes what ecu can i replace it wit other than the 1000 after market ones, do uk sti ones fit etc,

I NEED HELP ON THIS......... thanks

oh am running totally standard as far as im aware with a blitz induction kit

you are correct there mate, not sure if sti ones will fit as the basic set up will be different, speak to simon @ www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk an he'll point you in the right direction

for 97/98 your a bit stuck,t hey can't be piggy backed meaning no real mapping option bar dumping them.

might be worth looking at an apexi, tends to be the cheaper of the ecu's but a reliable and decent bit of kit
