Panel air filter Vs Induction Kit.

Hi there,

Any one have any experience of whether or not removing the airbox and replacing with some kind of induction kit is really worth it?

I have a Green Panel filter but wondered if swapping for an induction kit would be a good mod.

cheers
Angelo

Panel filter is better for that sensitive MAF meter.

Re: Panel air filter Vs Induction Kit.

When i recently bought my classic, it had a hks filter on it.

Ive noticed that the mpg is absolutely appauling, is it worth putting the air filter box back on - as standard.

Re: Panel air filter Vs Induction Kit.

I remember binning an induction kit on my original WRX and replaced with an original airbox and STI and later Green panel filter. Car pulled so much better as a result and further improvements were made when I removed the snorkle in the wing and drilled the airbox.
