Is your car fully de-catted now?... Recomend you uprate fuel pump.... when possible, have remap of ecu to get full benefits

Suggest green cotton panel filter before remap

Re: decat

yeah its a full decat, i am going to get a green filter from scooby world, also a hks ssq dump valve its got a dump valve already on it but i think its started leaking, when it comes on boost it makes a wierd noise looked everywhere and cant find anything so thinking the dump valve.
how much is the going price for a remap, where would the best place be.
also is it normal for the turbo to whistle so much its really noticable only does it since the decatpipe was fitted. sorry about all the questions but nice one for your help

Re: decat

sounds like the diaphram has colapsed in the dump bud,fit new one and jobs a good un
the turbo will "whistle" now due to the unrestricted flow off gases,so shouldn't worry about that
as for a remap,it depends where you go and where you are in the country, the mapper i use charges 550...

Re: decat

550 sounds pretty good for a remap what sort of power would expect from that then???
dunno if it helps you more but the wierd sound is almost like theres a pigeon under the bonnet, but it isnt constant its the for a second or two then goes

Re: decat

dependant on mods bud, only sumarised the 280 figure, you'll possibly see the 300 mark or more
