Rear ARBs Classic to Bugeye

Hi, Can anyone tell me why a classic arb wont fit a bugeye please, I have a spare classic one and it looks as though it will drop straight on but looking on the various sites the part numbers dont match,
I can have a go but didnt want to do anything dangerous.

Bob

Well its fitted! and the standard sti one is just bigger, exactly same shape and size to a 1995 wrx one, bit of a bonus having a spare classic one after all.
I will keep a eye on it when i replace the drop links etc but it looks like another retail myth that they dont fit atm.
