1.6 performace mods?

I just bought a scooby 1.6lx (dont laugh im still on r plates) but im finding it quite slow, anyone have any ideas on picking up the performance?

Save yer pennies mate until you can afford a turbo would be my advice ( or a 2.0 sport )

afraid i can only echo whats been said before, scoobs derive there power from the tubo, so when theres no turbo not much power im afraid. power gains can be achieved but tends to be silly money for not a huge improvement and you'll always be behind a turbo.

best bet as said save your pennies and buy a uk tubnro as and when you can.

and also a scoob is a scoob, doesn't have to be a turbo to be a scoob so just enjoy

performance filter, exhaust system,fse boost valve,

thats about it without spending daft amounts, but the difference in power will be like 5-10 percent, not really worth doing so yeh....

keep ya head down, get 2 years no claims, build ya 1.6 up to look sweet as fook then when ya get a turbo swap ya bits over.

hey ya fella. how old are you 1st thing if you are 17 and just passed ya test then you will have to wait a little while as insurance is a bugger for turbos imo. do a compare the market thing so you get an idea now for when you are older. IF YOU ARE YOUNG that is.. but enhjoy ya car mate a scoobs a scoob after all. im 32 and only been driving for about 8 years im paying 560 for mine right now fully comp with my misses as a named driver WHY I DID THAT I DONT KNOW lol
