This modifying carry on....

I just bought a 2000 WRX with an unmodified engine

Anywhere in Glasgow or Ayrshire I can take it to squeeze some extra BHP from it without spending shed loads of money on a 13yr old car

Re: This modifying carry on....

Depends on how much you class as a shed load of money.
Andy Forrest should be able to remap it (click here >> AndyForrestPerformance) but remaps are about 500+ if its the first time its been done, so your better off getting some basic mods like a full 3" exhaust system (if its a everyday car get a sports cat fitted) and replace the original paper air filter with a green cotton panel filter. and maybe replace the fuel pump.

All that will come to approx 1400 thats including labour when fitted professionally and you should achieve 260bhp when remapped.
