bhp

just bought 2002 uk sti was told it had 384 bhp.
modifications 3 inch d cat exhaust,garrett 20g turbo,kn induction kit,bigger fuel pump,re-map by andy collins racing and some other bits.
on rolling rd only showing 285 bhp any answers.

at a guess,you were told a load of tosh,best bet is plug it in and see if there is anything wrong,if nowt comes up then the mapper was telling porkies when it got mapped..

i had a m3 343bhp before the scubby,the scubby is a lot faster,1st 2nd 3rd gear is crazy.

as said Bullshit Horse Power BHP figures arent un common for pub talk and selling a car,
was the RR results you got @ wheels or Fly ? may explain some difference.

at around 22% transmission loss then its around 346bhp (22% being a very rough figure) so about on the money. 384 is possible on a 20g by the way

what fuel you running it on?
