2006 WRX Performance Upgrade

I'm the proud owner of a standard spec, 2.5 2006 WRX Impreza, looking to improve on the already impressive performance.

What do you suggest for a price bracket of around 1.5 - 2.5k.

This is also my everyday car so I 'don't want something that will wake the neighbours at 6:30am every morning.

Thanks

Re: 2006 WRX Performance Upgrade

replace the cat in the up-pipe if it has one and Im a sports cat fan for the downpipe over a decat, just due to the ease at MOT time, but as above panel filter, fuel pump and a remap to tie it all together.

Good point about the uppipe, I know the wrx has the 565cc dark blue injectors, I assumed they would have the fuel pump to match. Suppose I shouldn't assume

Re: 2006 WRX Performance Upgrade

upgrade wise depends on budget, AP are by far the bets, but you wont get change for 2k, also may have issues fitting them under your wheels, other option is somethign like D2 6 pot kit, there nearer 1200. Even cheaper option is a disk size upgrade from somewhere like godspeed, iirc its around 500 for disks and brackets.
