putting a bugeye interior in to a classic?

hi,

another newbie here, ive recently bought a w reg sports wagon, and the roof lining needs to be replaced because someone before me has cut the back third of the lining off (i assume to fix the sunroof), and when i was having a look round my local impreza scrapie i had a browse at a couple of newer shape imprezas and was thinking how hard would it be to put the entire interior in to mine and bring up to date a bit.

so my real question has anyone done this before or is it even possible?
are the fixings in the same place, will the connections be the same, how hard is it to turn the airbags off, etc etc.

any advice would be great

kiff

lol, cheers ill put a bit more research in to it first before i spend any money on it i think!
there is one thing i did notice when i was looking at the same age ones as mine, and that was that the 2 they had at the scrapie both had a pre-formed style roof liner where as mine is all cloth, and the middle interior light was different too.
