the guy who installed my tint said it can be a real pain in the a$$ to remove the tint once it's set on there, so you might have to take it to a professional. I got very dark tint and he made a comment to me that he would charge extra if he ever had to take it off again (like if I got tired of getting pulled over by the police)

Well I had 20% put on all the side windows, and 8% in the back. It can be a little tough to see out the back at night, but it also reduces glare. 8)

According to a nice Plano police officer  , my side windows are like 10% or something like that! I guess the factory tint + my 20% tint makes them darker. They have this little meter thing that fits over the window and measures how much light can pass through. :P

the legal tint is 30% however most windows are already tinted so even if you only have a 30% tint it will still be illegal.the police now have light meter if your tints are illegal they can put a proabition on your car so you cant drive it until you have your tint removed.

Hi Kazi, Here in Oz I'm told the easiest way to remove the window tinting is to steam prior to removing it. Goodluck. Rock
