Comfort in the stock seats

One thing my WRX lacked and I decided to add was a lumbar support. I got this nifty little manual pump model from Corbeau:

Start b y unzipping the zippers on the rear of the driver's seat- then pull the plastic clip off that hols the fabric in place:

This is what the back of the seat looks like without the cover:

Pull the fabric from the front to gain access to the foam:

Then tuck the lumbar support underneath and put the fabric back together:

Here it is all done- makes a nice difference on long trips:

Re: Comfort in the stock seats

Thought I would resurrect this thread as I would like to know where to get one of these Corbeau lumbar support with manual pump. Found that after driving nearly 300 miles to the Richard Burns memorial ended up with a bad back.

thanks.

Thanks, funny enough, i've drove to Peterhead and back in one day and never got a bad back, but i think its because my clutch pedal has moved a few milimeters higher and im not brave enough to adjust it myself as the car suffers from clutch judder as it is, but its only when i've been along country roads. So I had to adjust my seat.
