Wind Noise

I am new to Impreza ownership and was wondering if a bit of what sounds like wind noise from the back of a Classic Saloon is normal? I am going to check the door seals etc closely when I get chance regardless?

Re: Wind Noise

Well I am not 100% sure if it is wind noise, or what it is really. I checked around all the door seals today and they are all fine but to be honest they are not the best design/system in the world. The sound deadening, or lack if it, in the boot is nothing special so it may just be a bit of road noise coming through. I am not going to worry for now.

Re: Wind Noise

had this problem on mine,at high speeds of 120+ "on a private road" the rear passenger window used to "pop" out,so to speak,so had to slow down, drop window n put it back up again, but in the end got fedup,so removed rear seal, soaked it in hot soapy water n refitted it,making sure it was pressed back in good n proper, job done, had no problems since..
Mapped by Enginetuner(Plymouth)..

Re: Wind Noise

I find even if you have your window down the slightest you get wind noise I mean even as much as 3-4mm make sure the windows up as much as they can go cause you never know might be just that
