Damp in car

Am having a curious problem with the scoob - some mornings its distinctly damp on the driver's side. The top of the steerwheel and the drivers seat get wet. It *appears* to be coming from the roof near the top of the windscreen. It doesnt happen all the time and the one time that it was *really* bad was when I was parked at a friend's house parked downhill. Anyone got any ideas what I should be looking for?

Have you got a sunshine roof? or it could be the windscreen rubber.

i know this sounds daft but.... you havnt got anything inside the car that could cause condensation from within? like a damp rag / cloth or something? This could be vapurising onto the windscreen and drippers forming / dripping on below. So in theory nothing is leaking in....

Just a thought

hmm... methinks I've found a source for possible condensation - the carpet in the passenger foot well is soaked, now my next question is how did THAT get wet?
