Newbie in need of help please

hi, i've got a 2003 wrx sti type uk and have just bought 2 gauges for it. one is a oil pressure gauge and the other a boost gauge, fitter the pod to the A pillar and mounted the gauges and they look smart but am stuck on where abouts i should screw in the electronic pressure sender unit for the oil pressure gauge on my engine.

does anyone have any advise or even better some pictures of where i should mount it

The oil pressure sensor is located under the alternator. Have a look you'll see an adaptor/sensor and spade end connector with wire on top.

Easy job. Either slacken off or remove the alternator to gain better access.
Remove om wiring from top. You'll not be needing this unless you intend using adaptor LMA095. More details at end.
You now have an adaptor and the original px sensor sitting in the block. Remove just the upper half ie the px sensor. leaving the lwr half in the block.
Taking your new sensor wrap some ptfe tape around and screw into the adaptor that you left behind.
Thats the sensor in just needs you to connect up electrically now. Replace the alternator.

There are no additional adaptors that need be brought for this. However if you still want to keep your main dash px warning light as well than an aditional adaptor is required.
