Defi Gauges Problem help needed please

Hi I have a set of defi gauges
1. Oil Pressure
2. Oil Temp
3. Water Temp

Until recently they were all working fine. But today the Oil temp gauge is not moving and I have a red warning light. However when i turn on the ignition the gauges register and it will respond from the control panel. Could this be a faulty gauge or a loose connection? The engine seems to be running fine. Oil pressure still seems to be ok.

Can i have your expert opinions and advice please

Many Thanks

If the gauges are doing the start up sequence OK, it is possibly a fault at the sensor end ????

Disconect the oil temp sensor from the Control Unit II and see if removes the problem (the gauge should do start up then not register).

Give me a shout if you need a new sensor.
