central locking causing embarrasment !

Hi, hope someone can help, when my central locking is used it works fine but makes one hell of sound, sort of unlocks and carry's on for ages, does the same locking and unlocking. anyone any ideas of what the problem could be ...
bit of nightmare when people are looking @ ya car, then you have to lock it ! neighbours will probably complain soon !

thanks in advance

Hope this helps ,
I had the same problem , not on my scooby but a saf cos , it was the central locking solinoid , you can find out which door is at fault by dis connecting each door in turn until the central locking locks with the alarm fob. then the one that is disconnected is at fault. you could pick these up 2nd hand for coppers.
let me know how you get on .
