Cleaning seats

Right my seats need a good clean (no jokes please ) I have a steam cleaner that I was going to use but I'm not sure if this will damage the seats. Anyone tried this before? Or does anyone have any advive/good method of cleaning them?

Re: Cleaning seats

I've got one of those Vax upright cleaners, it's bloody brilliant.

Re: Cleaning seats

Ok I ditched the steaming idea and just gave them a good scrub with some upolstery cleaner. Came up good for 10 year old seats. Just started to rain though think I'll invest in a Vax like you said Matt. I'll try and hide it in the garage from the misses though
